Royal Jordanian:
The Dead Sea earned its name because its extreme salinity salt cannot
support life. But Royal Jordanian can prove otherwise. Proceeds raised
in this Marathon along the banks of this supposedly "Dead" Sea
will be donated to the Society of Care for Neurological Patients. Thus,
helping those in need and giving them a way not just to exist but to really
taste the joys of life.

support for the dead sea Ultra Marathon emanates from one of our fundamental
principles of giving back to the community by participating in charity
events on all levels.
As for this event we offered an OPEL Corsa year model 2002 as a grand
prize for the raffle tickets (all proceeds will go to the benefit of the
society).

Fastlink is proud to announce the sponsorship of the Ultra-Marathon for
the fifth year in a row. We ensure our support to this event because we
believe that it correlates and harmonize with our believes in true sponsorship.
As this is a human activity due to its relation to the Society for Care
of Neurological patients, sports related activity as per title, in addition
to its moral cause which is the unification of all the world under one
umbrella which is "running to the lowest point on earth"
Jordan Tourism
Board:
Being a proud sponsor of the Dead Sea Ultra Marathon, whose proceeds will
benefit the Society for Care of Neurological Patients, this is the Jordan
Tourism Board's third year to sponsor this most distinguished and unique
event. The distinctiveness of this event not only comes from the fact
that participants from across the globe will congregate in Jordan to compete
in a race 50 km long in distance that will span a vertical height from
90m above sea level to 400m below sea level, an opportunity only possible
in the serenity of this country, but also that very near by here is the
newly found site where Jesus Christ was Baptized by John the Baptist,
where Salome danced to king Herod in return for Joghn's head, and where
many of prophet Mohammad's commanders and companions are buried. Also
on a plateau overlooking the Dead Sea on Mt. Nebo was where prophet moses
stood and viewed the valley beneath and the surrounding hills. This is
where it is believed that he is buried. Being part of the Dead Sea Ultra
Marathon is running in an area where the forefathers of the three monotheistic
religions once walked and preached. It is being part of the history of
mankind.
